Vikas Joshi is a business leader who is passionate about product development and technology entrepreneurship. His mission is to help create software products that make a difference. A key part of that mission is to inspire tech professionals and entrepreneurs to grow and develop.
As founder and CEO Vikas leads Harbinger Group, a reputed software company with a global customer base. Harbinger Group helps tech companies in building enterprise software products. For e-learning users, the firm markets its own innovative products and provides custom content solutions. Vikas holds two US patents for his inventions at Harbinger in education technology.

As writer, speaker and educator, Vikas shares his passion for tech entrepreneurship with others. He holds a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, where his research in entrepreneurship addresses the co-evolution of technology firms and founders. This work, showing how entrepreneurs learn and develop, has been honored by American Educational Research Association.
Vikas is a Harvard Business School alum. Earlier, he studied mechanical engineering at IIT Bombay and completed his masters in computer science at Syracuse University. He enjoys as many books, movies, and songs as he can while he divides his time between Silicon Valley and Pune, India.

As Executive Director, Swati spearheads the rapid growth of Harbinger Systems, a global provider of software services. Since 1990, she has held various positions in the organization, involving engineering, project management, business development and leadership roles.
Swati’s leadership in sales and account management has helped Harbinger Systems establish a sound customer base worldwide. To support the rapid growth, Swati led the expansion of Harbinger Systems’ Redmond (WA) US headquarters and established its Santa Clara (CA) satellite office.

Swati believes in going that extra mile to give value to customers and delivering beyond their expectations. This mantra, which has helped Harbinger Systems build marquee customers such as Microsoft and Cisco, has also helped build enduring relationships with several smaller companies and technology startups.
In her successful professional journey, Swati has given a special emphasis to cadre building. She has been passionate about building highly motivated and effective teams, to carry the baton to a winning finish. She has achieved this by creating an environment that is nurturing and supportive to taking challenges for high level of performance benchmark.
She is a member of international honor society, ‘Beta Gamma Sigma’. The Institution of Engineers (India) honored her in the year 2003 with the Woman Entrepreneur award, commemorating Leelawati Mehendale.
Swati holds an MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, Pune University, India.

Seema joined Harbinger Systems to head the Redmond office in 2002. She spearheads the U.S. public relations, legal, administrative and finance teams, and consultant network.
As President, she provides critical insights that enable diverse teams succeed in a variety of highly competitive industries, cutting-edge markets, and fast-paced environments in the U.S. Seema’s relationships with prominent and influential experts in the eLearning industry have been a driver for ongoing growth for Harbinger products and services.
Seema has a passion for customer experience, and has led the overall growth and direction of the company's marketing initiatives, channel development, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition through both online social media and conferences. Leveraging her experience in marketing, sales and business development for international markets, she has helped create new opportunities in emerging markets such as Latin America.

Seema is a Member of the eLearning Guild and American Society of Training and Development. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from State University of New York, Syracuse and a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Bombay, India. She also completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
Seema serves on the City of Redmond Arts Commission and enjoys running and biking. She lives in Redmond, Washington with her husband and two sons. |
